Milwaukee Blacksmith

I'll never forget the saying from Col. Ken , owner of Milwaukee Blacksmith when 13 of us newbies started our first Blacksmith 101 in his downtown studio, "how many of you want to make knives - there's the door." It really stuck in me that blacksmithing was much more than "Forge in Fire", it was about moving metal and creating new things. I can't tell you for  sure what about the art enthrulled me at the time, I just loved to hammer metal and design new things.
