The Grohmann Museum - Wisconsin

  Who knew that Milwaukee, WI has almost two floors dedicated to the world of blacksmithing. Check out the Grohmann museum on the campus of MSOE (Milwaukee School of Engineering) for a real treat. My wife and I found it by accident while attending a classical band concert for our grandson, Noah. Start at the terrace gardens on the top floor for larger-than-life bronze statues of blacksmiths. This "Art of Work" exhibit shows some impressive, large oil canvas of every sort. The attention to detail and use of light are truly worth studying.
